Description
It is a fine powder with a pleasant taste, which is obtained by processing the passion fruit. Once the pulp and shell are processed, it is dehydrated by atomization.
Benefits
The medicinal use of passion fruit is based on the calming properties (depressant of the Nervous System) of the Passiflorina (or maracuyina), a natural sedative found in fruits and leaves. The orange-yellow color of the juice is due to the presence of a pigment called carotene offering the body that ingests a good amount of vitamins A and C, in addition to mineral salts, such as calcium, iron, and fibers.
